Ich liebe Käse
Getting ready for the trip, we enjoyed a German breakfast of bread and cheese this morning. I’ve been drinking lots of coffee, too.
Only three days at the office this week then off to travel for two weeks.
I’m still accepting Berlin recommendations. Y’all were so good for Paris… any thoughts on Deutschland?

And another called “Loops”, it’s in the Wörtherstr. 19 in 10405 Berlin. Loops is in “Prenzlauer Berg”. Oh, and in general: “Prenzlauer Berg” is the place to go in Berlin (at least that’s said to me)!
I think there are other Yarnshops, but this three I visited myself.
You should visit the Reichstagsgebäude, take a boat-trip on the Spree, take a walk through Berlin-Mitte, eat the cakes in a Café called Barkomi’s, look down on the city from the “Fernsehturm” at Alexanderplatz, visit the KaDeWe for shopping and have fun, fun, fun!

The yarnshop recommendations you already got are all I know and well researched (though I have to say thet yarnshops in Germany are not that interesting and fancy and fashionable as those in the USA – I’ve been to some shops in Manhattan and loved them!!!)…
you also schould see the Oranienburger Straße, Hackesche Höfe for shopping in small individual shops, take a walk around the Museumsinsel, we have a lot of interesting museums there. Potsdamer Platz is futuristic and has a statue of Jeff Koons I really like. Tiergarten is a nice park to relax. If you like going to zoos, you might like the Berliner Zoo, the aquarium next to it is also great.
Enjoy Berlin, it’s a great city!
