Decibelle loves a good neck rub, and Christopher is happy to oblige. (she’s not that heavy.)
Time to face the type
February 3rd, 20122. words. #FebPhotoaDay
Face, face. I give you typeface. Tonight I took an intro to letterpress class at San Francisco Center for the Book. We got to make some stationery and notecards.
I’m pretty sure I’ll be going back. There’s much more that I want to learn and make. I imagine many more letters and cards in my future.
A damp and dim start to February.
February 1st, 20121. your view today (dreary morning)
Why not try another monthly challenge in the shortest month of the year? Heck, I’ll try two.
At worst, it will result in a few random posts here. That’s better than none.
At best, I’ll have 29 prompted photographs (FebPhotoaDay on Instagram) and 24-29 letters (A Month of Letters) to show for it.
Maybe not such a dim start after all.

Drink more water.

January 1st, 2012From one holiday to the next
December 19th, 2011Much has happened since my previous tofurkey posting, most notably is starting a new job. Since I haven’t had much time to write about it, enjoy this holiday video made by my new employer, Chronicle Book.
(If you’re so inclined, feel free to buy books off the site… that’s what I’m charged with improvingour on-site sales. We’re a small independent San Francisco publisher, as opposed to, say, an internet monolith like Amazon.)
